It all started with the royal dresses of a beloved Princess...TPPCF, Inc. was organized “to acquire, maintain, preserve, and display to the public items of historical and cultural interest relating to Diana, the Princess of Wales” and “to conduct, both directly and through grants to other charitable organizations, activities in furtherance of the charitable and educational purposes supported or endorsed by the late Diana, Princess of Wales, during her lifetime… including but not limited to the prevention, treatment, cure, and alleviation of suffering from AIDS, related disorders, and cancer, and injuries caused by land mines, and the provision of care and services for disadvantaged children.”
What originated with the purchase of 14 dresses of a royal Princess has led Ms. Rorech Dunkel to state that the philosophy of the Foundation is “using beautiful things to do beautiful things”. She is dedicated to continuing the model of humanitarian action as personified by the late Princess Diana’s own sale of her personal “treasures” for distribution to charities working in the fields of AIDS, related disorders, cancer, injuries caused by land mines, and the provision of care and services for disadvantaged children. The Foundation has developed a multi-faceted platform to further its causes.
